Description
Un trasplante (transplantation) is the transfer of human cells, tissues, or organs from a donor to a recipient to restore function(s) in the body. Donations can come from deceased donors and live donors. This process may be complex and challenging for a layperson, meaning that we must be familiar with it as medical translators and interpreters.
During this 2-hour *recorded* webinar, participants will become familiar with basic concepts and terminology about transplants in English and Spanish.
