El dolor is the main reason people visit a healthcare professional. Although it is a universal experience, its subjective nature makes it difficult to describe and even more challenging to interpret.
After this webinar, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the basic mechanisms of pain, its characteristics (such as intensity, duration, type, and location), how pain is perceived differently in Anglo and Latino cultures, and key medical terminology related to pain in both English and Spanish.
The class is taught in Spanish, with English medical terminology.
English/Spanish translators and interpreters of all levels are welcome.
• Duration: 2 hours
