As interpreters, we encounter medical terminology not only in medical settings like doctor’s appointments or physical therapy sessions, but also in unexpected situations. It might come up during an IEP meeting when requesting accommodations for a student, when describing injured body parts in a Workers’ Compensation deposition, or during expert witness testimony in a personal injury case.
After this webinar, you will gain a deeper understanding of Greek and Latin roots, prefixes, and suffixes, and how to combine them to create and understand medical terms.
