About 11.3 million LGBTQIA+ people live in the United States. Members of this diverse community speak many languages and belong to many countries and cultures. Therefore, as translators and interpreters, being familiar with the appropriate terminology related to this gender and sexual minority will allow us to translate a document or interpret during an assignment and better serve this community.
During this 2-hour webinar, participants will become familiar with basic concepts and terminology about the LGBTQIA+ community in English and Spanish.
This class is designed for English/Spanish translators and interpreters of all levels.
What is included in this webinar?
After the class, all students receive a link to a personal learning site they can access for 6 months. There, they will find:

- Sight translation document (PDF)
People who attend the entire duration of the webinar (2 hours) receive a Certificate of Attendance with CEUs (0.2 CMI, 2 CHI. Pending 2 CIMCEs) within 24-28 business hours.
