Medical acronyms are a faster way to convey a long concept in three to four letters. Nowadays, acronyms are present not only in medical records or specialized medical conferences but in regular conversations between a patient and a provider.
As translators and interpreters, we must deal with them quite often as they can pop up in a translation or an interpreting encounter. Therefore, being familiar with the most common medical acronyms and knowing where to find their meaning.
During this 2-hour *live* webinar, participants will become familiar with basic concepts and terminology about medical acronyms in English.
