In some cultures, talking about sex or gender is considered taboo. Therefore, unless you are an ally, part of the LGBTQIA+ community, or know someone who is part of it, you may not be aware of the terms used by this sexual minority.
As translators and interpreters, we work with people of different cultures and backgrounds and translate many documents for them. To better serve this community, we must understand the nuances of this sexual minority’s terminology and concepts.
During this 2-hour *live* webinar, participants will become familiar with basic concepts and terminology about LGBTQIA+ terminology in English.
